Why We Collect It

We use your information to:

  • Provide access to our e-learning platforms and track your progress
  • Issue certificates of completion
  • Report completion data to your employer or commissioning organisation where they have arranged access
  • Improve our platforms based on how people use them
  • Send you information about our services (only if you have opted in)

Legal Basis

We process your data on the following legal bases:

  • Contract: To provide the e-learning services you or your organisation have registered for
  • Legitimate interest: To improve our platforms and understand how they are used

Who We Share Data With

We share data only as necessary:

  • Your employer/commissioning organisation: Completion data where they have arranged your access
  • Hosting and IT providers: Technical infrastructure, under strict confidentiality agreements
  • We do not sell your data or share it for marketing by third parties

How We Keep Data Safe

  • Access restricted to authorised personnel only
  • Regular security reviews and monitoring
  • Cyber Essentials certification maintained

How Long We Keep Data

We retain learner records in accordance with our agreements with commissioning organisations, typically 6-8 years for healthcare training records. User accounts are retained for the duration of the account plus 2 years. You can request deletion of your account at any time.

Your Rights

Under data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Have inaccurate data corrected (you can also update your Account Settings directly)
  • Request deletion of your data (in certain circumstances)
  • Object to processing
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time
  • Request data portability

To exercise these rights, contact us at the details below.

National Data Opt-Out

The national data opt-out allows you to stop your confidential patient information being used for research and planning. Our e-learning platforms record training completion, not patient care data, so the national data opt-out does not typically apply to our services. If you have questions about this, please contact us.

If you are unhappy with how your data has been handled, please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue. If you remain dissatisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office:< br/>
